The Diocese has 54 Nursery/Primary Schools and 39 post primary schools. Catholic Education Services coordinates the activities of the schools for effective running of the system so that the best of human and material resources are deployed for their development and maintenance.
The Catholic Diocese of Gboko was created on 29th December, 2012 by the Holy Father Pope Benedict XVI and Most Rev William Avenya was appointed the first Bishop of the Diocese.
